As a practicing deep tissue Massage Therapist, for 12 years, I rely on a structure of care that allows me to work pain free. For five years the acupuncture, herbs and consultation that I have recieved from Dr. Zhou have created a sense of ease in my system and daily life. The issues that he has resolved for me include migraines, wrist, knee and ankle pain and sinus headaches. His treatments also assist with the tension in my hands from playing guitar. I highly reccommend him. I have referred many clients who have been pleased with their results as well. |

I have been a patient of Dr, Zhou for several years. I'm at the point in life where pains and problems of one kind or another appear when least convenient. Dr. Zhou consistently has me leave his office feeling much better than when I came in. I've sent him several patients and they all agree that he is very competent. You don't have to believe in acupuncture. Just try it and observe the results. It works! |

Awesome! Being a yoga practitioner for 40 years I am an advocate of personal responsibility for health maintenance and natural cures and not in favor of too many drugs and invasive surgery. Still I came down with an attack of gall stones and a friend referred Dr. Zhou. I had been treated in Hong Kong 3 years ago for the same problem which had been cured with acupuncture and herbs, but stress caused a recurrence. Dr. Zhou Ziyang is world class! Knowledgeable, competent, professional with a tidy, efficient operation. He quickly won my confidence and I began the upward swing in well being the next day and was back on my feet and eating within 3 days. What a Godsend. Highly recommended!!!

I started going to Dr. Jhou almost three years ago. I now consider him my primary care doctor since he has helped me with various issues - IBS, allergies, menstrual period, and now Hypothyroidism.
He is fabulous! He is patient and listens and knows exactly what I need each time I go in. He also understands medical terminology because he was a Medical Doctor in China, which helps the bridge over from Western medicine to Eastern medicine.
If you need an acupuncturist, he is the best! |

I am a medical proffesional who has suffered from reflux for a large part of my adult life. After very little relief from western medication I visited Dr. Zhou to discuss what, if any, options there might be to help with this discomfort. After my initial visit I was very skeptical, but optimistic about the possibility of relif through accupuncture. Well after many treatments I am glad to say that I no longer need to take medication for acid reflux and very rarely have any symptoms of acid reflux disease. |

When I was much younger, my sinus problems were so severe that my ears would become infected. Those infections left scars on my ear drums, which affected my hearing. I moved to Austin in1970. For thirty-nine years I was an allergist's dream come true. Every season brought about a sinus infection. I averaged five infections a year. Dr.Zhou was reccommended to me by a friend. Of course I was skeptical, but in the year I have gone to him, I have not had a sinus infection. The amazing thing is that I went to him for pain in my knees, and he put needles in my face for "preventive measures." I reccommend him highly! |

Unfortunately for someone who cannot tolerate narcotic painkillers (morphine, codeine, darvon, etc.), I was headed for my seventh major surgery. This time a total knee replacement. I was practically hysterical at the thought of facing all that pain unmedicated. It is now eleven weeks since I had the surgery. It was successful and Dr. Zhou's help using accupuncture before and after was invaluable. The pain was minimized and the healing expedited.
Dr. Zhou's manner is calm. He listens well. His receptionist is pleasant and helpful. The office is clean and welcoming. |

I was brought to Dr. Zhou by a friend of mine after I was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy. My face was completely distorted. I could not close my eyes or even blink them. My tongue was almost completely paralized and I was unable to talk. I was just beside myself with worry and pain. My family doctor told me I would have to wait 6 weeks before he could start treating my condition or order physical therapy. My friend would not hear of it and took me to see Dr. Zhou the same afternoon I received the dreadful news. Dr. Zhou started treatment right away. I was able to feel some results after the first treatment. By the time my 6-week wait period was up, I was almost completely cured . I returned to see my family doctor as scheduled and showed him how most of the paralysis was gone. This was absolutely amazing to me and my doctors. What was even better was that my glucose did not escalate with the Bell's Palsy medication to the numbers the doctors had anticipated it would rise to, nor did I have to use the emergency insulin injections the doctor prescibed to control my diabetes. Dr. Zhou was able to treat my Bell's Palsy and control my glucose through acupuncture treatments and an herbal formula. Thank you Dr. Zhou. You saved my job and my face. |

I have been a patient at Pine Mountain since August 2005. Dr. Zhou (pronounced Joe) is not only a medically trained doctor but he also holds a masters in Acupuncture and is a practicing professor. Dr. Zhou initially treated me for female infertility issues. I conceived within 2 months. Currently, Dr. Zhou is treating me for pregnancy related aches and pains. I should also add that I am extremely nervous about needles but Dr. Zhou is extremely gentle and tailors his technique to the patient. I have been very pleased with the results. |
