Pine Mountain Chinese Acupuncture and Herb Clinic

Pine Mountain Chinese Acupuncture and Herbal Clinic was founded in 2001. It was located at 2520 Longview Street, Suite 211 in Austin, Texas for the first 5 years.

Our facility is a quiet place of serenity.

Due to the need of expanding the practice, the clinic was relocated in 2007 to the Medical Science Center at its current address: 711 West 38^th Street, Suite G-3 in Austin.We are very pleased that we have been able to provide even better care for our patients in the new office.

In our clinic, we apply various treatment modalities of Chinese medicine, including acupuncture, acupuncture with electric stimulation, cupping, acupressure and moxibustion. 

Because of Ziyang Zhou’s training experience with his grandfather, we use moxibustion more often and more effectively than many acupuncturists do.  Due to the concern of smoke and the smell of moxibustion, the clinic has one designated room for moxibustion with separate ventilation.

The clinic has a full pharmacy of Chinese herbal medicine.  It has more than 300 commonly used herbs in both raw form and powder/granule form, which are utilized to make customized herb formulas.  The pharmacy also carries a wide variety of Chinese patent herbs, in forms of  pill, tablet, tincture, capsule, plaster, salve, etc.
